A beautifully fitted 360Wh battery that may provide more than 40 miles or 64km of assisted pedaling is mounted on the crossbar frame. The Bafang rear hub motor, which is rapidly becoming one of the top bicycle motor brands due to its superior performance, build quality, and affordability, provides the power. The Spire 1.0 has 32Nm of torque, which is more than enough to keep the wheels moving up long slopes and to make flat terrain easy. For peace of mind, the battery uses premium cells from Samsung, another well-known name in the electric bike market, all of which exceed the strictest performance and safety requirements set by UK and EU law. For added convenience, the battery is simply removed without the need for tools and can be charged both on and off the bike. It can be fully charged from flat in about five hours.
